Alyssum - Aurinia saxatile 'Summit' s a low growing, mound-forming, evergreen alpine perennial. It produces bright golden-yellow flowers in spring on ovate, hairy, toothed, grey-green leaves.
The species has been a popular garden plant since the early 16th century. Once thought to be an herbal cure for madness!
Mature height 15cm / 6" and could spread to 100cm / 25" in time.
Plant in alpine beds or front of borders. Ideal ground cover.
