Dianthus plumarius are commonly known as 'garden pinks'. They are part of the 'caryophyllaceae' family of plants and originate from Central Europe and the Alps.

They are highly scented and generally flower over long periods from early summer until autumn.

They usually grow 30/45cm 12/18" tall and are ideal for cut flowers and in borders.

They need to be grown in a sunny position in free draining neutral or alkaline soils.
