This is a very attractive calendula. It is deep orange with a crimson underside with matching crimson centre. This variety can be grown in pots as well as the garden.
Calendula need to be planted in well drained soil in a sunny spot. They flower June until August.
As well as a superb summertime cut flower, they are a great 'companion plant' to grow alongside your vegetables as they attract hoverflies (well known to love eating aphids).
