Lampranthus is a genus of succulent plant indigenous to southern Africa. They can be ground as ground cover or even trailing plants. Lampranthus thrive in sunny positions with well drained soil. Their flowers open in the sunshine.

Lampranthus 'Purple' is a cultivated form with fleshy green leaves and bright purple flowers.

We have found that they can usually take winter weather down to minus 5. 

Height 30cm / 12".

This plant is grown by us at our nursery & supplied to you in a 7cm pot, fully rooted & ready to plant straight out into your garden. Please note that this is NOT a plug plant, in this size of pot there is NO need for you to re pot it & grow it on in a green house.
