Papaver commutatum 'Ladybird' is a stunning poppy with large bowl shaped bright red flowers with black spots, like a ladybird. 

Poppies grow well in sunny places with well drained soil and generally flower from early summer onwards.

Mature plants grow 15-20cm / 6-8" wide and 30-45cm / 12-18" tall.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PLANT IS NOT HARDY SO DO NOT PLANT OUTSIDE UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THAT FROSTS HAVE FINISHED.

This plant is grown by us at our nursery & supplied to you in a 10cm pot, fully rooted & ready to plant straight out into your garden. Please note that this is NOT a plug plant, in this size of pot there is NO need for you to re pot it & grow it on in a green house.
